The RCGP conference was a blast. The party was in full force, songs, laughter, dancing, even a Laughing Policeman doing Billy Connolly routines, it was fantastic!
Okay. You’re thinking that the Custodes brain has turned to custard, but just ask anyone that was there. You wouldn’t know that the NHS was in turmoil, but perhaps I should mention that all the partying, including the laughing policeman, was on behalf of Scottish GPs!
I was talking to a cardiologist this week. We’ve got lots of them in our neck of the woods.
There is talk of a merger between the units because apparently it would produce ‘efficiencies’. My colleague was vehemently opposed to it.
